报告摘要:
In this talk, I will discuss some recently developed numerical methods and physical models for multi-region interfacial flows where singularities occur. To predict the evolution of the interface network, we propose an interface capturing method with high-order accuracy and high efficiency. This method has been coupled with the finite volume solver to compute the dry foam dynamics. Besides, we develop a conservative interface-interaction model to simulate e.g. triple-point-shock problems, three material shock-bubble interaction, inertial confinement fusion implosion and shock-driven biomedical processes. In addition, a multi-region variational model is formulated to solve the domain decomposition problem. At last, the concept of interface inpainting method will be introduced, and applied to simulate complex time-evolution of multi-region systems when the driven velocity is discontinuous, not correctly computed, or contains noise.
